Craziness

So...i have obviously survived the last week & a half (physically anyway) New member recruitment went well. We have 17 newbies, and i have total confidence that we have let in some really awesome people.

I think (& hope) that most of the crazy hectic stuff will for the most part calm down. I am looking forward to enjoying the non-recruiting weeks ahead of me and getting to know our amazing new members.

I have to say though that this past weekend was a challenging one for me. Possibly the most challenging thus far in my AIESEC experience. It has taught me a lot and still continues to do so. And although it wasn't the most wonderful weekend of my life, I learned so much and was able to connect with some of my favorite people in the organization.

The weekend also has given me the chance to see that some changes need to happen and has given me the strength and courage to make any necessary changes a reality.

And with that said, I'll keep the blog updated as the changes occur.

Life

Life is hectic but good. AIESEC Miami is currently in the middle of new member recruitment. I am so excited to get new members and go to Purdue for RoKS! Though I wish I could be half as happy to do school work...
This weekend it going to jammed packed with stuff. Not only am I working three shifts over the weekend, but I am also having a program with Rhyme with a Reason
(RWAR)on Saturday night where we are showing a screening of Fade To Black (Jay-Z's documentary) and bringing 5 out of town, underground artists to perform.
I am also having a dinner party at my apartment Friday, going to the NM party for @ Miami and hanging with some of the artists.
PLUS, studying for a finance test that is next Wednesday, completing the majority of my homework for next week and start studying for a test the following week.
Spike Lee is coming to Miami, so that will be a nice mellow addition to my week.
All in all, the next four days are going to be crazy.
Next week, I'll let you know how well I survived it all!
